So it begins…Project Life Title Page 2015

I haven’t finished my Project Life 2014 yet but I just couldn’t wait to get started on this baby πŸ™‚ Having had some gorgeous materials over Christmas, I was so inspired and I’m pretty pleased with how my page turned out. What do you guys think?

For this page, I used My Mind’s Eye ‘Market Street’ kit and its embellishments thatΒ I had for Christmas. I absolutely love them! I also used the 2015 Best Year Ever stamp from the Studio Calico December kit, which again I had for Christmas. It didn’t stamp very well so I had to use a black felt-tip to fill in the gaps. Pretty happy with the results though.

As I subscribed to the Paislee Press newsletter, I received the Twenty Fifteen journalling card for free πŸ™‚ Happy days. And finally I designed the Celebrate card using Wolf in the City font from Dafont. As for the album itself, I had bought a Becky Higgins green album in the sales a few weeks ago.

And here are a couple of photos of my goodies which I used for my title page.

I’d love to see your title pages! Just leave a comment with a link to your blog or instagram feed πŸ™‚

Project Life – sharing a few pages + plans for next year

Let’s be honest, I have many hobbies! I’m interested in way too many things, which on the one hand is a good thing but on the other hand, it means that I never fully throw myself into something as I keep skippingΒ from one thing to another. But one thing I absolutely love is Project Life. In January 2015, I will be starting my third album and I’m proud to say it’s one project I always complete πŸ™‚

Project Life is a fabulous way to record your memories and store your photos and you can find more information about it on the Becky Higgins website.

I’m already excited about starting my 2015 album πŸ™‚ I absolutely love my 2013 album. I used more photos (especially some from the everyday life) and I added scrapbooking 12×12 pages to it. I also made a few journaling cards myself using photoshop. Here are some examples (apologies for the washed out text – I want to keep a few things private – and the general poor lighting quality):

My 2014 album is similar but the title ‘Our week in review’ disappeared and I kept changing how to introduce my weeks so it hasn’t got as much consistency. I also used more cards from kits rather than printing them.

For 2015, I would like to use a double-spread per week (this will force me to take more photos of our everyday life). I will continue to use kit cards and print the odd ones (to save on ink) and I’d like to add 12×12 scrapbook pages. I’m not sure yet how I’m going to introduce the weeks but I’m sure I’ll find inspiration from my favourite Project Lifers: Laura, Caylee, StephanieΒ and Carly.

What about you? What are your Project Life plans for the next year? Who inspires you?
